I have a bad habit of getting insomnia before appointments. I had a basic blood test today just to be sure I’m not approaching diabetes or growing a cancerous sentient tumor whom likes to be addressed as “Billy”. Hopefully I will not get the forthcoming “Call Of Doom” to tell me just how screwed up I am!

Lately I’ve been in a gamer funk. There’s been a lot of games coming out I want but none that I’m willing to drop $60.00 on. In my older age I’ve become more of an overly cautious miser it seems. As excited as I am about the new Tomb-Raider, I’m not THAT excited. I’m sure I’ll love it in my own special way but it will not be quite the same as getting Knights Of The Old Republic from a dear friend as a gift or picking up ShadowHearts covenant from Game Stop. The PS2/Xbox era was the height of my gaming innocence and since then my hyper exuberance has been replaced with a mix of pessimism and lukewarm enjoyment.
