Good morning Pixlpeeps! It is a very windy day here in what is usually sunny Southern California. I had my hands full yesterday so I wasn't able to write my usual What I Am Playing blog while eating breakfast, but today it is a different story, and I am ready to give an update on what I have been playing. Sound like fun? Let's get started!

Good morning Pixlpeeps and Happy St. Patrick's Day. Yes the one day where I actually wear a lot of green (by a lot I mean a green baseball cap, and matching sneakers). Today is also week two of No Meat Friday so hopefully I can find something to eat that doesn't involve the words “Tofu”, and “burger.” I might hit up the local casino for dinner because its two for one seafood night, and crab, shrimp, and clam chowder is on the exempt list (WOOOOO!) I also hope there is a trip to the local mom & pop for me so I can add to the music library. As I type this I am currently ripping an audio cassette audiobook. I do like audio cassette books because I can say “Books on Tape” but also there are tons at Thrifts and usually they are cheap, and the sound quality isn't bad. The drawback is I have to rip them in real time, and this is where I miss high speed dubbing. Anyways let's get started with Quick Hits

I don't think my body cares about the fall backwards, spring forwards time change anymore. I woke up at the same time I normally do: 30 minutes before my alarm. During this time I question why I wake up that early, read Twitter while listening to the local news, and maybe a quick scan through Reddit. That is how I welcomed in spring forward. Good morning Pixlpeeps! Since I got that out of the way, how are you good people? I got some gaming in this past weekend while debating on playing something new on the iPhone/iPad. Good morning Pixlpeeps! It is the rare Saturday Quick Hits but yesterday I was caught up in things like trying to not eat meat (the one legit Catholic thing I do a year), breaking in some shoes, and not being in the mood to write something for the normal Quick Hits time. This morning however I felt that I should write something and I have a couple of things I'd like to write about.

It feels odd to not have to write a new entry everyday. Granted I didn't have to write much during BaD but it was still fun to wake up, and write about a song that was on a list. Anyways I am now getting back to a normal posting schedule of just Monday and Friday, I do miss the fun of BaD. Since we are in a new month its time to take a look back at February and see what I finished in the month.

Good morning Pixlpeeps! Earlier this morning I was greeted by my phone ringing 30 minutes before my alarm goes off. It was a NY number so I answered and asked do you know what time it is on the West Coast. On the other end of the line it was a the sounds of a busy call center which means WINDOWS SCAM GUY is on the phone. He greeted me with my computer has a virus. It was go time, and I was ready. I said ok let me get my laptop. He proceeded to tell me that I needed to concentrate on my keyboard and to find the windows button. I should push that and the R button. I said ok. I then asked what does that do, and at first he was was a little apprehensive about telling me but eventually he did. He asked what do I see on the screen. I said nothing, and this back and forth went on a couple more times before I informed Windows Scam Guy that I forgot to turn on my laptop. It went silent and then he hung up. I'm legit disappointed that he gave up so quickly. Usually they will get all uppity and try to intimidate me with threats about the police coming. This is where I tell them there is no way my laptop should be telling them that my laptop isn't sending them signals and there's no way he can call the police from India and the police have better things to do. After that I leave my phone on because they won't hang up. Now guy hung up and all my fun for the morning ended abruptly. Oh well that number goes to the block list.
