Well Good Morning good people of the Pixlbit Community! Hope the weekend was good and filled with tons of gaming, and you might have knocked a couple of games from your backlog/pile of shame. So here we are on a breezy Monday morning (it’s an odd 81 degrees, and quite breezy here in Sunny SoCal). I’d like to say I tried out a bunch of games but let’s be honest I’ve been playing a ton of MLB The Show with Video Game Chris is near the end of his first full season in the majors chasing the triple crown. It’s getting tough because every pitcher on the planet is throwing low pitches and the slider is eating me alive. I saw this last week and I thought I would share it with you good people

Happy Friday good people of Pixlbit! My latest edition of Quick Hits is a little late because I had some things to do in the morning, watched Aztec Softball at lunch (they were playing that team in Ann Arbor at Arizona State), and since I have some time now, in the very warm SoCal…it’s 107 freakin’ degrees! 107! I thought about going thrift store hoppin’ but since it’s hot, I’m spending time with Mr. Air Conditioning. Ok so this week’s Quick Hits with Chris is a little bit of everything. Stuff from gaming to pickups to television. Sound like fun? Well good, let’s get this party started!

Happy Friday Pixlbit Nation! Hope your week went by as fast as possible so you too can sit back and enjoy the upcoming weekend. As I type this blog, I’m currently listening to a new album I picked up on Tuesday

Oh Monday, you’re here, and why did you bring windy cooler weather with you? At this point it’s becoming a tease with triple digits, and then 70-80 degree weather the next week. I see a pressure headache in my future because of all this…blah! Anyways hello Pixlbit, hope the weekend was good to you, and you enjoyed some good Sunday Night television. I watched my usual Game of Thrones but since one of the HBO’s is the East Coast Feed, I got to watch it at 6pm and I caught the Lego Simpsons episode, which had its moments, and there were a shot that at us folks who like to separate Lego by color and place certain sets in plastic bins. Since it is Monday it’s time to check out what Chris has been playing since last Monday. Sound fun? Well good, let’s get started!

Oh Pixlbit, I just saw the weather forecast for today and it’s going to hit triple digits. Last week it was 70. Following the tread from last week, I blame Romo. Anyways hello Pixlbit guys and gals, it’s Friday, the happiest day of the week. I’m happy because the weekend is here for me, even though I have a couple of minor things to take care of, I’m staring at an afternoon filled with video game baseball, and maybe a steak for dinner. So how are you folks? Anything good happen this week? I had a couple of fun things happen and that will be the topics covered in today’s Quick Hits!

Happy Wednesday Pixlbit. I just watched the presentation about the new Disney Infinity 2.0 which is going include the Marvel Superheroes, which means I am about to buy more plastic figures and a new starter pack. I only caught the last 10 minutes of the presentation, but what I did see I liked, especially with the improvements to the Toy Box Mode which makes it easier to not only create your own town, but you can also add Tower Defense and Dungeon Crawler games to it. I think I'm more excited about using Marvel characters in the Story Mode but in the past Infinity game I spent the most time playing within the Toy Box. 

Greetings Pixlbit, how was your weekend? We have another start to a week and for my little piece of Southern California that means saying goodbye to the cool weather because I’m staring at 90 degrees for the rest of the week. Yup it is getting warmer and I have to start waking up earlier to avoid to the heat if I want to do fun stuff like CD Sundays and roaming around to find the latest and greatest in deals. You would think this would have happened this past weekend, but with the Stagecoach folks in town (for those out of the loop, think Coachella-fest but with Country Music), I decided to once again stay indoors for most of the weekend and “try” to make some progress in Mount Backlog. Instead of trying to knock out a game or two that’s been sitting on the list, I played a ton of MLB The Show, but you good folks will read about that in a bit.

Well Happy Friday good people of Pixlbit! I am excited to that we once again have this time off to do nothing but enjoy the sun, do some exploring, or maybe make some progress on our backlog. I’m probably going to do tackle the backlog, which usually ends up in playing a game for an hour, and then going back to MLB The Show (created Chris got promoted to AAA Albuquerque and is on a tear). Well good morning Pixlbit! It is another nice start to the week, even though I’m a little “banged” up because I slept in a funky position and now I have a small headache and a sore neck. I’ll be fine, but if I were a pro athlete I would probably be on the disabled list. Anyways going back to today’s topic, last weekend was fun because I spent time with the family, and one of my favorite music days arrived, Record Store Day. On Friday I didn’t think I would be able to check out the local mom & pop for RSD because it was spend time with the family day, which is cool, but there was one item I did want and since it was RSD, I figured it would be sold out because I never show up right when the store opens.
