To begin I have a hypothetical question.  If your vision was such that you could see the world in black and white and one other colour, what would that colour be?  I am thinking of this along the lines of Schindler's List.  Everything that you would see would be black and white, except for this one colour.

This morning it dawned upon me that I was having buyer's regret.  This feeling has been sitting with me for the past couple of days.  I am glad that I figured out what it was, but am surprised by the source.  I did not know that you could have buyer's regret from something that you have not purchased yet.  So, I fixed the problem and canceled my PS4 pre-order today.

It was quite a busy weekend.  I helped my wife with some schoolwork, she is a teacher.  Then I removed wallpaper in a bedroom in my brother's new house.  Dark Samus was conquered for the final time, and Xenoblade Chronicles was finally started.  Most importantly, the twelfth incarnation of the Doctor was announced.

Happy IPA day!!!  Today is apparently the day to celebrate the wonderful hoppiness of india pale ales.   That is all...

Exit Musings.

Well, the steam sale is finally over.  It did not do as much of a number on my wallet as it has in the past.  I think that the quality of this year’s purchases has exceeded what I picked up last steam sale.  This season I picked up; Sword of the Stars:  The Pit, Monaco, Evoland, Gunpoint, The Swapper, Ys I and II chronicles, and Antichamber.  I am excited to play them all, and I have actually spent an hour or so with Evoland and it is a very fun distraction.  My steam catalog is becoming more and more overwhelming, and I do not expect to work through it anytime soon.  I have gotten to the point that I keep my steam backlog separate from my console backlog and even keep my handheld backlog separate from the other two.  This allows me the ability to focus on one far more manageable mountain of games that I would like to play.

It is on its way, in record time I might add.  I ordered a copy of Xenoblade Chronicles shortly after I asked the simple question whether it is worth it.  $100 for a game is not cheap, but with the overwhelmingly positive response I had to buy it.  Also, thanks to Digital Mystery Tour episode_7 I listened to the start menu music, and fell in love.  There is just one big problem that will prevent me from booting up Xenoblade Chronicles the moment that I receive it, and that is Metroid Prime.

Xenoblade Chronicles, is it worth it?  I almost broke down and bought it last night after I heard the amazing start menu music.

I hate trying to start something when you have much to say, but no starting point...
