Oh, I'm so going to suck at SSX, but it will be amusing.

I think I get my money's worth out of it. And I got stuck at that part, too, because you have to be standing in exactly the right spot or the "Examine dish" and "Look behind the counter" options don't show up. I got stuck trying to figure out how to distract the violinist so I can look in his case for the stolen purse.
I'm equally as odd: I loathe almost all traditional Thanksgiving foods. We can be odd together.
Baltimore isn't exactly what I'd consider a cold weather climate, Andrew. I think you're safe :)
Yeah, me, too. I work for the state park system, and someone has to work so others can play. Christmas was the worst - had people who just wouldn't go home until I went out, found them and told them that I couldn't go home and have Christmas with my family until they left. Ah, well. The world wouldn't survive without us service personnel.
A heifer is a young cow that has yet to have a calf. What I like best about Heifer International is that they not only give the animals, but also the training to take care of them, and one of the stipulations in the agreement is for the recipient to give the firstborn of whatever livestock they received to another person in need in their area. All in all, they epitomize the saying "Feed a man and he eats for a day. Teach a man how to fish and he eats for a lifetime."
Really incredibly late reading and commenting on this, but you can make mead now!
My favorite LEGO game remains LEGO Indiana Jones. I think it was one of the games that came with my 360 when I bought it. I should go back and try to get the two last achievements sometime.
Black Friday is consumerism at its worst. I now refuse to buy anything at all on Black Friday. Not that I usually shop for gifts at the retailers who take part, anyway. I'm a huge supporter of the "buy local" movement, so most gifts are bought at small, locally owned stores where any profits stay in the community. I do make the exception for gift cards, especially since I have teen nieces and nephews and anything that most adults buy them is generally just lame. I remember those days, lol.
Gift cards are a good way to go, as are donating to charity in someone's name. My go to charity when I do that is usually Heifer International. We gave a jar of honey to Jason's parents when we donated a bee hive in their name one year. If you go the Heifer route, you should check out Patrick Rothfuss' Worldbuilders website. Toys for Tots is a good one, too.
