I feel like an idiot having wrote that blog now. Damn you Microsoft!! Oh wait... this is a good thing lol. I'll still be going with a PS4 but this makes me happy in a lot of ways. I was worried about the future of the industry.
This is great news. I won't be buying a X1, but at least those that do won't have to worry about owning a paperweight when MS shuts the servers down. Let's just hope they don't go back and change it again lol.
Congrats on your Retron 3! I have a FC Twin that plays both NES and SNES games in addition to the original consoles. Don't forget about amazon and ebay! You can find some great deals on there.
Hell yeah to Contra! It would be so easy to make a movie based off Contra. There doesn't even need to be a plot. Or not much of one at least. Aliens invade the Earth, destroy almost everything, and only two dudes can stop them. That sounds good enough for me.

Steam is great, but It's infested with DRM. I don't mind it so much because it's an optional platform and NOT the rule. Plus there are so many sales all the time that it's ridiculous. You need to be connected to the internet for it though. When I moved, and didn't have interent for like a month, I couldn't play any of my games off Steam. It'd be the same thing with the X1 but even more restrictive and with less benefits.
I wouldn't mind having Kara as my social worker. The guy that is assigned to me is a total dude bro lol. He already pre-ordered his Xbone. I would watch this show. What about making a movie if it's successful enough?
I paid a lot more than $50 and still don't have the original Metal Gear or Metal Gear 2. I would probably buy it over SMT, but I don't even know what SMT is lol. I bought a PSP for Peacewalker. Those games can be hard to get into, but if you liked Metal Gear Solid you will probably be really happy with it. I was planning on reviewing VR Missions someday.
There's a lot of potential with all of these... but honestly I wouldn't want to see any of them made. I'd be scared they would screw it up somehow. It would be hilarious seeing Simon Belmont whipping candles in Castlevania lol. I think animated movies would be great though.
That's a great value. I know GH would certainly recommend it lol. My question would be do you really need to add eight more games to your backlog? PS3 owners really got screwed on the Orange Box collection. It'd load like every 5 seconds. I read somewhere that Valve even said they F'd it up lol.
