I have been apprehensive about diving into the more recent 3D Zelda games.  I am not quite sure exactly what the reason was, but I know that it has to do with what I have read and heard on the internet.  I remember hearing complaints about how much the games seem to hold your hand and how long it takes for Link to recieve the sword.  These things have always pushed me back to A Link to the Past and I never really moved past it.

I finished up Twilight Princess yesterday and really did want to talk about that.  There is one issue, I have lost the desire to talk about it.  I enjoyed it, and left the game with a far better taste in my mouth than when we last talked.  Outside of the mostly dark tone of the game, it is the Zelda game I would have dreamed about recieving, if Ocarina of Time had been my favourtie in the series.  What I mean to say is that the game feels like Ocarina of Time, but with a massive increase in scope.  Good game, and I am glad that I finally played it.

So, I decided to sit down with Twilight Princess.  I have been wanting to play the game for some time now, but have been scared off by the Wii.  Thankfully, my brother had a copy for the GameCube that has found its way into my possession.  I have some initial thoughts and some speculation about the story that I wanted to get out there, so that I do not start obsessing over it.

So, I finished up inFamous:  Second Son the other day.  I enjoyed the game quite a bit and was able to 100% it on the first go.  This is actually the one thing about the game that made me fall in love with it.

I think that I may have fallen back in love with videogames.  

I finished up Shovel Knight sometime yesterday.  I hope to be able to compile together a few thoughts on my first playthrough of the game.  The only issue with this is that most of them may have already been said better in the reviews.  

This past week I feel as though I have been just going through the motions.  I think that part of it may just be because of jetlag.  Whatever it is, I don't really like it.  I have had little that I have wanted to say over the past couple of weeks and I don't like it.  Here is hoping that I can get back into the swing of things soon.

If you had a sixteen hour flight and could limited yourself to one handheld, which would it be... the Vita or 3DS?  Also, if you could only have one game in the cartridge slot, which would it be.

I don't really have much new going on around here.  The biggest thing to note is that our trip to Japan starts in a couple of weeks...
