And now for something that makes me happy - my Playstation game collection. I have 159 games altogether. Out of those, 52 of them are RPG's. I also have 24 Square titles. Other heavy hitters are Capcom and Konami, with 21 and 11 titles, respectively.
To be quite honest, this has not been the greatest time for the Blog a Day challenge. I have been working extra hours and have found myself with less time to write than I would like. On top of extra hours my weekends have not been the most relaxing. This past weekend I had to attend a Gala thing for my wife's school where they had an auction and such to raise money for updating the tech in the school. After a couple of hours standing and mingling my feet were killing me. Dress shoes suck sometimes. Which is why I prefer my macbeth's, but they aren't "classy" enough for a Gala.
There are three things I noticed I tend to like a lot more than the average gamer: Bioware, Pokemon, and Crash Bandicoot. And while the first two get their critical praise, remain relevant and receive high sales, Crash has been mostly irrelevant for a little over the past ten years. But you know what? I still fucking love this guy.
So a recent Nintendo Direct came out and it was...as expected. I can't say anything wowed me. Games you knew were coming were given more extensive trailers or a broader understanding. And the thing is...I kind of don't like directs. They leave fans a certain unfullfillment. What I mean by that is say you expect something like Yoshi Yarn. This was a game we were promised was being developed...but since then mum is the word. No trailers, no information, are they even still working on it?
