I think I have the majority of these games, but I have yet to finish them, or even play them at all. This generation has been the generation of collecting for me. Change is coming... I hope.
Farewell to the Wii: Unsung Wii Games
Come see all the games you probably missed, but should've played (shame on you).
Categorized as a real-time strategy life simulation role-playing game, Little King’s Story was the last contribution now-defunct developer, Cing, was able to make to the Wii. Despite its extremely complex classification, Little King’s Story was an easily approachable game that melded together Pikmin-esque gameplay, elements of dungeon crawlers, and a simulation/town-building component.
With each passing day in the game, players would always be able to find something to do, whether it was just scrounging around for goods to convert to cash or marrying off the villagers that fall in love. Building out your kingdom incrementally from the ground up was both rewarding and addictive.
Despite the cute and colorful façade, Little King’s Story is no walk in the park. Many boss battles in the game would do more than give you a run for your money and poor planning could result in absolute failure. While the game stumbled a bit due to some awkward controls, there’s no denying the charm of this special Wii game.
