I think I have the majority of these games, but I have yet to finish them, or even play them at all. This generation has been the generation of collecting for me. Change is coming... I hope.
Farewell to the Wii: Unsung Wii Games
Come see all the games you probably missed, but should've played (shame on you).
There’s no question that Vanillaware makes fantastic games. Anyone privileged enough to play Odin Sphere on the PlayStation 2 have a clear understanding of just what the team can do. Muramasa continues their rich legacy with beautiful hand-drawn graphics and a silky smooth combat system that requires high proficiency and a penchant for exploration.
At low skill levels, almost anyone can play Muramasa just to appreciate the story and beautiful presentation, but once the difficulty is kicked up a notch, the entire experience changes. Instead of a straight button masher, it becomes necessary to formulate techniques to deal with the enemies on screen and approach each encounter with caution.
108 swords that greatly vary the combat and RPG elements help propel this gorgeous hack-‘n’-slash into must-play territory.
