I think I have the majority of these games, but I have yet to finish them, or even play them at all. This generation has been the generation of collecting for me. Change is coming... I hope.
Farewell to the Wii: Unsung Wii Games
Come see all the games you probably missed, but should've played (shame on you).
The Excite series is one that after a long hiatus found its footing once again on the Wii thanks to Monster Games. Though it originally took the form of dirt bike racing, its Truck and Bot incarnations are some of the best. Using the Wii's motion controls, players are able to take unprecedented control of their vehicle and navigate the treacherous terrain, while utilizing jumps, tricks, and boosts to their advantage.
Excitebots: Trick Racing kicked the series up another notch by introducing an absolute ton of wacky obstacles and challenges. It's not uncommon to swing a bat, kick a soccer ball, spin on a number of bars, or even knock down some bowling pins in the middle of the race. The unique take this series has on the racing formula enables this madness.
Finishing first in the race only secures a certain number of stars, the rest must be picked up by performing all of these stunts, and you'll only win if you collect more than your opponents.
For pennies on the dollar you can grab both of these excellent racing games and easily find 100 hours of gameplay.
